Winter is an important time to keep in touch with possible pool issues. If your pool is open, such as the one pictured above, then the filter system should be running 24 hrs. a day to help avoid damage to any piping. If your pool has been Winterized, the water level should be lowered to a safe level to avoid any repairs to the top section of your pool. Since water expands as it freezes, it can render extensive damage if left unchecked and can be an expensive repair.

“Rick Pinto Swimming Pools built my pool in 2005. They did an outstanding job across the board. From design, to implementation, to creativity to price, I was entirely satisfied. They stand behind their work. They completed the project in a timely manner. They were completely forthcoming from the beginning in terms of issues that might arise during the construction phase including ledge, blasting etc. In other words, in dealing with them, there were no surprises. Most importantly, Rick is on the job nearly every day. When we considered some of the larger companies to build our pool, we met with sales people and designers but never the owner. I can’t overstate the importance of having the owner of the company on site during construction to make sure everything is handled professionally. Rick Pinto has his name on the project and it’s reflected in the workmanship. Since my pool was completed, I’ve recommended Rick and his team to others and I continue to do so without reservation.”
